Getting started
What is StarCorp?
StarCorp is a Windows app that is the home for the software you buy from us. Right now we're finishing the platform (accounts, licensing, updates and support) before the first StarCorp products launch. Join our Discord to hear first.
How do I create an account?
Buy a key, download StarCorp with it, open it and press Sign up. Pick a username (3 to 20 letters, numbers or _), a password of at least 8 characters, and enter your key.
After signing up, StarCorp shows you a recovery code once. Save it somewhere safe.
Where do I get a key?
Press Choose on a plan in the Store to get an order code, then paste it in our Discord. A private ticket opens where you pay and get your key.
Keys and time
What happens when I add a key while I still have time?
The new time is added on top. For example, 10 days left plus a 30-day key gives you 40 days.
My time ran out. What now?
Redeem a new key on your dashboard, or log in to the app: it asks for a new key when your time has run out.
Do lifetime keys ever run out?
No. A lifetime account never runs out, so you'll never need another key.
It says my key is invalid or already used.
Check you typed it exactly (keys look like STAR-XXXX-XXXX). Each key works once. If it still doesn't work, open a ticket on Discord.
Your account and PC
Can I use StarCorp on more than one PC?
Your account is locked to the PC you first log in on. Changing one part (a new disk, a Windows reinstall) is fine. Moving to a new PC? Ask support on Discord to reset your PC lock.
Why was I signed out?
An account can be signed in on one PC at a time, so logging in somewhere else signs the other place out. You're also signed out if your time runs out or a required update is waiting.
I forgot my password.
In the app, press Forgot password? and enter your username, your recovery code and a new password.
Lost your recovery code too? Ask support on Discord for a one-time reset code. It works for 30 minutes.
What is Verify with Discord?
It links your Discord account to StarCorp, so your picture shows in the app and support can find your account quickly. StarCorp only reads your Discord name and picture. You can unlink it any time in the app's Settings.
The app
How do updates work?
When you open StarCorp, it checks for a new version, downloads it, makes sure it isn't damaged and restarts itself. Keep StarCorp.exe in a normal folder, like Desktop or Documents, so it can update.
Is my data safe?
We store as little as we can, and never your password itself. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what we keep and why.
Payments
How do I pay?
Get an order code in the Store and paste it in our Discord. Your private ticket explains how to pay. Once staff check the payment, the bot sends your key.
